Traditionally one of the club’s favorite all-around fun rides….BUNCO BUMP in South Denali!! Lots of deep snow and lots of long, rolling and open meadows of untracked snow!! RSVP requested to 907-242-0808.
This will be a joint-club ride inviting Curry Ridge Riders members to join us!
Meet at 10am in the MP121.5 parking lot on the Parks Highway 6 miles north of Trapper Creek and be ready to ride at 1030am. The parking lot is on the east side of the highway just where the road opens up for an additional passing lane and a sign on the right (east) side of the highway reads: “East-West Trail”.
Intermediate skill level and familiarity with riding in deeper snow because we’ll be off the main trail quite a way; longer-tracks of 146″ or more are advised. Recommended spare gas, fold-up shovel or snow-scoop and a sack lunch. It’s snowing the rest of this week and this should be alot of fun! Return to the cars by 4-5pm. 60-70 miles typical.
