Spencer Glacier Ride

***PLEASE NOTE***: We are posting this ride; however, this trail has not had snow in weeks. The trail is icy and/or hard pack. If we do not get snow before Sunday, the ride will be cancelled.

IF it is dumping snow, we will cancel the ride. The trail can get hidden very quickly and visibility diminishes.

The weather has been unpredictable and changes within a days time. If the temperatures are in the negatives, we will also be cancelling this ride.

This weekend’s ride has been challenging due to very cold temps throughout the week and forecasted into the weekend all over the state and most places have not seen fresh snow in a while.

Safety is our top priority, so please keep an eye out for any updates through this posting and/or sign up for the text service for the latest updates on the ride. We will have a final call on whether the ride will occur or not at 7 AM.

 Meeting Point: Placer River Parking Lot. This is located on the right, after the first bridge crossing past the Wildlife Conservation Center.

 Look for: Sam in a dark grey, newer model Chevrolet Truck Quad cab with a dark red Polaris Khaos.

Level: All skill levels are welcome on this ride, and it is a family friendly ride.
