Trail report for Tuesday 5 Feb: The trail from Trapper Lake to Susitna Landing was packed/groomed yesterday after receiving about 7” of new snow this past Sunday. Last night we got another 5” of new snow. This morning it is overcast with light snow, no wind and temperature at 20F. Great trail conditions both on and off trail. There were a few spots along the river trail where overflow was showing up. As always, be aware of changing trail conditions and be safe.
Also, we were able to follow up with the Willow 300 trails crew and were able to stake the trail from our trails over to Sheep Creek Lodge. There is a good packed route at this time.
