76 inches of snow in Tokisitna Valley as of January 2nd?
Yessiree, that’s what the Snotel site is reporting and we’re gonna go bust it up some !! This Saturday, January 5th meet at 930am in the MP 121.5 parking lot on the Parks Highway (just north of Trapper Creek) and we’ll be ready to ride shortly after 10am.
This is an INTERMEDIATE skill level ride (nothing overly technical) but be familiar with riding in deep snow. Bring an extra jug of gas because we’re going to burn it up in the deep stuff ! Also a sack lunch and camera.
We should be cutting 65-80 miles before returning to the cars by 4-430pm.
