The ever-popular get-acquainted with snowmobiling class!!! Come out and figure out what all the fun is about and what you’re missing. Riders of all skills and abilities welcome. This ride is low key and geared to helping new and developing riders gain confidence and skills. We will ride mostly trails (pow if we can find it) talk about safety and preparedness, how to handle situations like getting stuck (my old specialty), hitting trees (my new specialty), over-flow (avoid at all costs); changing a belt, etc. Most important is being safe and having fun. I encourage everyone to have their own sled (it’s no fun riding on the back), but not required. Bring lunch and drinks. Required gear: Helmet; Spare belt for your sled; extra pair of gloves, and extra layer of clothes. I like to talk sledding, so call if any questions or concern. Location TBD, but most likely in the Willow area. Will depart the parking area at 10:30, return about 3:30. STAY TUNED–more information to follow
RSVP is appreciated–write leader Tim Cook at lia@ak.net
