LAKE LOUISE/TOLSONA RIVER
LODGE RIDE – MARCH 26-28, 2010
I've made
arrangements again this year for us to stay at the Tolsona Lake Resort
Lodge about 16 trail miles from Lake Louise. It's spacious, the food is
excellent
and it has a full service bar. It's located a few miles past the Lake
Louise
turnoff on the left hand side of the highway and has plenty of parking for
our
trailers. The owner is Christine Heller and the phone number is 822-3433.
Here's the pricing: the room rate is normally $95 but she'll knock it down
to $80
for our group. The food total is $62.25 per person and that includes
gratuity. So
for two people in a room the rate per person would be $142.25 for two
nights and
four meals. If there is a single person in a room the rate would be
$222.25 for
two nights and four meals. So for a couple it will be $284.50 for the
whole deal,
lodging and four meals for the weekend. If you're going to come by
yourself then
you might want to find a partner, it'll be cheaper.
This year she has planned to do Chicken Fried Steak for Friday night and
Prime Rib
for Saturday night. For breakfasts she'll do French Toast with Sausage and
Scrambled Eggs for Saturday, and Biscuits and Gravy with Scrambled Eggs
for Sunday.
We'll ride to one of the lodges on Lake Louise and buy lunch both days.
This is to be considered a family ride and our pace will be leisurely with
frequent
stops. We'll play as much as we can and all in all it should be a good fun
weekend.
There are several activities planned for that weekend by the Lake Louise
community.
The calendar of events can be found at

One last thing. You don't have to be staying at the lodge to ride with the
group.
If you want to make other arraignments then call me and we can discuss
some options
and the food. If you have any questions or just want more information or
clarification or if you think I've left something out, call me.
